a) According to Annex IX Regulation 6 of MDD:
If all the temporary implantable medical appliances used in the surgery belong to IIa classification, the

6. According to the requirements in MDD (2007/47/EC), the certification approaches applied by the
company for the CE marking products shall be carried out in accordance with the approaches in Annex
VII and Annex V.
